MDA Daily – Casualty Numbers – Operation “Roaring Lion” as of April 3
In the past 24 hours (as of 20:00), Magen David Adom teams provided medical treatment to 26 people, including 12 with physical injuries and 14 suffering from anxiety symptoms.
3 of the physically injured were lightly wounded by missile fire toward the State of Israel, and 9 people were injured on their way to shelters.
Since the beginning of Operation “Roaring Lion”, Magen David Adom teams have provided medical treatment to 2,250 people, including 1,757 with physical injuries and 493 suffering from anxiety symptoms.
550 of the physically injured were harmed by missile fire, including:
• 19 fatalities, including 18 who were pronounced dead at the scene and 1 who died of their injuries in hospital
• 1 critical
• 21 serious
• 37 moderate
• 472 mild
1,207 people were injured on their way to shelters, and 3 were killed; 26 of those injured were involved in road accidents after stopping on the side of the road during the siren.
