Last week, a fire broke out in a house in Ma’alot due to gunfire in the Western Galilee. MDA teams arrived and searched for any injured individuals. Meanwhile, Ira Wiseiski heard rumors that the burning house belonged to a family member. Rushing to the scene, she discovered it was her sister’s house, with only their dog, Nick, inside. During the firefighting efforts, Ira prayed for a miracle. Minutes later, Nick was rescued, frightened and struggling to breathe from inhaling smoke. MDA paramedic Amit Amsalem provided him with oxygen and ensured his transfer to a local veterinarian. Ira expressed her gratitude for the efforts, emphasizing Nick’s significance as a family member.
