MDA Summary – Day Five of Operation “Roaring Lion”

44 people were injured in mild condition, including a man in his 30s wounded by shrapnel, one casualty suffering blast injuries, and 42 people injured while on their way to a protected space. 

During the fifth day of Operation “Roaring Lion,” teams from Magen David Adom were dispatched to several scenes across Israel following multiple missile impact incidents.

MDA paramedics and EMTs provided medical treatment and evacuated a total of 44 mildly injured casualties to hospitals nationwide, including a man in his 30s wounded by shrapnel, one casualty suffering blast injuries, and 42 individuals who were injured while making their way to a sheltered area.

In addition, MDA teams treated 4 casualties from a road traffic accident that occurred during the sirens, including: 1 in serious condition, 1 in moderate condition, and 2 in mild condition.

Since the beginning of Operation “Roaring Lion,” MDA teams have provided medical treatment and evacuated 458 casualties to hospitals, including: 

139 injured at various incident scenes, including: 10 fatalities, 2 in serious condition, 6 in moderate condition, and 120 in mild condition.

315 individuals injured while making their way to protected spaces, including: 1 in serious condition, 1 in moderate condition, and 313 in mild condition.

MDA urges the public to follow the life-saving guidelines of the Home Front Command, act responsibly, and call MDA’s 101 emergency dispatch for any medical need.

MDA teams remain on high alert and prepared to provide immediate medical response at any scene, with widespread deployment of ambulances, mobile intensive care units, emergency medicycles, and rapid response volunteers. MDA helicopters are also on standby.
