A very special tribute was held on the 25th of May at the MDA Logistics Center in Holon, where 100,000 surgical masks were donated by the Taiwan government. The donation was part of the global fight in preventing the spread of coronavirus.
The ceremony was attended by Ambassador Kuo-Boug Chang, head of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Interest Office in Israel. Alongside the ambassador, embassy executives, representatives of MDA, including Ms. Anne Ayalon and Ms. Elena Watson, and senior members of Magen David Adom attended.
During the ceremony, the 100,000 masks were unveiled and certifications of appreciation were awarded. Kuo-Boug Chang was very thankful for MDA’s work and spoke about the importance of cooperation and mutual education. In addition to this, he spoke about MDA’s agreement with Israel’s National Rescue Organization and Taipei during the difficult days of the Corona crisis.
On behalf of Magen David Adom Anne Ayalon recognised the amazing connection and considerable contribution which will help the fight in preventing the spread of corona virus in Israel.
